Good morning! It’s the day after Thanksgiving here, and I’m still stuffed from yesterday. But I still love looking at food…especially breakfast, so feast your eyes on my niece Amy’s recent weekend and some savory moments. At the table: Amy, America, and Gavin.
And for the close-up, my favorite: (Note the Spiderman mug in the background – that belongs to Gavin, I’m sure).
Moving on to other recent meals, check out my Pre-Thanksgiving sensible lunch, with books:
Lest you think that I was completely sensible in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, take another moment to ponder this lunch of pea soup, with a strawberry margarita.

Then…last week, I had to sample some turkey and stuffing from Marie Callender’s…just in case I wouldn’t get my fill on the actual day.
I don’t have any photos from yesterday’s feast. I was a guest at the home of my daughter’s new in-laws, and since nobody else had their phones at the table…I stifled the urge to whip out mine.

Over in Berlin, where my son seemed to be having some kind of moment, check this out:

What is your Post-Thanksgiving weekend like? I plan to binge on Gilmore Girls…and meet up with more family on Saturday, at Yard House. I will have photos of that event later.

Oh my gosh I was so stuffed yesterday it wasn’t even funny… and I just had some leftovers a little while ago lol. So I’m stuffed again! Thanksgiving is killing me! All I want to do now is watch TV and sleep ha ha. But looks like you had a good time! I love the breakfast (and the,um, margarita too). Because I need alcohol to make me even more sleepy. 🙂
Seriously though, hope you’re having a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend.

Thanks for visiting, Greg, and why do we stuff ourselves so much? Tradition? It can’t be hunger…LOL.
But…it’s fun, too. Enjoy the weekend!

Thanks, Melinda…actually, it was their Pre-Thanksgiving Day breakfast…the weekend before. I don’t think anybody can eat the morning after…LOL.

Great family photos. I wish I’d remembered to take a picture of our Thanksgiving table before we started eating! My husband is the cook at our house, and he put together a fabulous meal. Ham instead of turkey, sweet potatoes (in maple syrup), a special green bean recipe (with tomatoes), homemade cranberry sauce, and more. Then there were the desserts! We sent leftovers home with our son and his family but there’s still lots in the refrigerator.

Sadly, I didn’t get a photo of the table, either, but the food was on the counter instead of the table anyway. Sometimes it doesn’t work out for photos.
Thanks for stopping by, Sandra, and I hope you enjoy the weekend.

Great photos! I kind of like that you weren’t able to take photos of the food, as I think…it can kind of take away from the meal if that makes sense. I’m glad you had such a lovely time and thank you for stopping by my Saturday Snapshot!

Thanks for returning the visit, Kimberly, and yes, in a crowd, photo taking seems a little rude, doesn’t it? Maybe beforehand, before everyone sits down. Enjoy your week!
