A much better week for me!  I read and reviewed three books that I really enjoyed, and I watched more episodes of The First Lady.  I have added The Old Man to my queue on Hulu, and hope to start watching it this weekend.

I haven’t been outside on my patio much, as it is either too hot or a little windy!

I did go out to lunch with a friend on Wednesday; we enjoyed our time at The Olive Garden.  I had a huge Margarita…and in the photo, you can see she is enjoying a salad.  Later we had Fettucine Alfredo.

Now let’s take a closer look at my week:

  1. I love the Olive Garden. We were just there recently and I wish I went more. Glad it was a good week. Your thrillers look good- I don’t seem to be slowing down on my thriller love lately lol.

    1. Thanks, Greg, we hadn’t been to The Olive Garden in a year or so; we tend to pick one or two of the same places. But I was happy we chose it.

Enjoy your week. I hope to keep enjoy the thrillers!

Isn’t that the way it always is. You get something outside you are excited to sue and then the weather doesn’t cooperate. Hopefully, this week is better for that.

    1. Thanks, Mark, and when the weather looks iffy, I always have to go out and put down the umbrella so it won’t topple, LOL.

It’s hard to know what will happen today…maybe I will get out there! Enjoy your week.

    1. Thanks, Kathryn, I think new ones come here on Sundays, so I’ll be watching for it today. I love how they go back and forth in time. Last week, they had some scenes with Michelle Obama, as well as some of the older “first ladies” in time.

Enjoy your week! Let’s hope for some good weather. I almost prefer the heat to the wind.

  3. Good to hear you had a better week and your meal at The Olive Garden sounds lovely! 😊 It has been either windy or too hot here in the UK too! And I have been so busy with work and life that I have disappeared from my blog for over two weeks! Hoping to get back to it now.

Take care and happy reading. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Jessica, and welcome back to your blog. I often wonder how I would get through a week without it, but that’s because it fills a void left by my working life, LOL.

Enjoy your week, and let’s hope for good weather!

    1. Thanks, Gayathri, I haven’t gone out with the new bag yet, but I did change over the contents from the last one I was using. I do need to switch them up more, as that is the best way to keep them all “new,” LOL.

      Enjoy your week.

  4. Glad to hear you had a better week. I love that handbag! It’s beautiful. That Margarita looks yummy. Yes, I have been watching GH (although I’m bored now) and Days too (which has been a bit more interesting than GH lately). Overall, I’m getting bored with both shows. LOL Hope you have another great week!

  5. Happy you have had no falls this week. And look at that purse. Very pretty.

Summer Love seems to be getting good reviews all around. I’m glad you enjoyed it. It looks like an ideal read for this summer.

I remember reading the Ann Hood book one year when I was on vacation in Maine. I hope it holds up well for a reread.

    1. Thanks, Susan, I do love collecting handbags, LOL….and sipping on perfect margaritas.

I probably didn’t really need another handbag, but they are my kryptonite, LOL. For some people, shoes are the triggers to buying and collecting. Not for me, though; I don’t like having to try things on.

      Have a great week.
