Another easy-going week slipped by, and we saw the last of March! April is symbolic of spring, of course, and we have had some lovely days. I stayed home all week, and even though I only read and reviewed two books and wrote six blog posts, I did enjoy some viewing. I watched an old series from back in the day: October Road, which I enjoyed again. I caught up on The Drop Out and Big Sky, and started a new series: The Girl from Plainville.
I rearranged a few things in my space, and I enjoyed picturing how my new hall tree will look once it is assembled: on Monday!
I hope to go out today…just because it is a weekend and the weather is lovely. I already finished the laundry!
Let’s grab some coffee and take a closer peek at my week.

That was my week. It was an easy-going one with me waiting for Amazon packages and rearranging my space a bit more.

It is nice to get out! I revisited a favorite restaurant this weekend and that was good. And waiting for Amazon packages is always great, love the anticipation of knowing they’re soon to arrive. 🙂
Hope your weekend is amazing!

Thanks, Greg, I like waiting for packages more than actually going out to shop! Although it is good to do that once in a while, too.
Have a great week.

I hope you were able to get out this weekend and enjoy the weather! This is our rest weekend before we go into several busy ones with various dance and Girl Scout activities. And Easter. I keep forgetting about Easter. The Detective’s Daughter sounds good. I don’t know if I have read a book by Spindler. If I did, it was years ago. I hope you are enjoying Moment in Time. Have a great week.

Thanks, Wendy; in the end, I stayed in to read and watch movies. Lazy me! Today I’ll do some cleaning. Tomorrow will be my hall tree assembly….and hopefully it comes off without a hitch!
I finished Moment in Time and really enjoyed it. I’m now immersed in The Detective’s Daughter.
Have a great week!

The weather was wonderful here in So Cal part of the week, too. Opened my windows to enjoy while I was working. We got lots of rain on Monday, but we haven’t gotten much rain since December, so I’m not complaining about that either.

Thanks, Mark, rain can be a good thing, but let’s hope for a few more sunny days.
Enjoy your week.

Hope you enjoy that sunshine and get out for awhile. It does make a difference. And well packages arriving too – I can go with that as well! Have a great week.

Thanks, Kathryn, I ended up staying in, reading and watching movies. I had a big grocery order in the morning, so I spent time picking out what to eat!
Enjoy your week…and have a great day.

Sounds like a lovely and productive week for you, Laurel-Rain! 😃 Mine has been another busy, fun but tiring one! However only one more week at it will be the school’s Easter break – Bring it on! Take care and happy reading in the coming week.

I hope you had/have a nice outing this weekend. Enjoy spring! We’re still getting snow (the past three days) but at least it melts quickly. My tulips are peeking above the soil surface so that gives me hope.

Thanks, Mary, in the end I stayed indoors, reading and viewing. Today is a day in PJs, LOL, so unless something changes, it will be an indoor day, too.
Tulips sound so lovely! Have a wonderful week!

I read Moment in Time and the book that came before that one. I didn’t realize this was a follow-up one but I enjoyed them both.
I’ve read Erica Spindler and Anne Tyler before but not those specific titles.
I hope you can enjoy a good week ahead with your books and tv programs!

Thanks, Mia, I enjoyed Moment in Time and finished it yesterday. I should have read the previous book, now that I have so enjoyed this one. Perhaps I will grab it anyway.
Have a great week.

I am anxiously awaiting some packages as well! I can’t wait to see your new hall tree!

Thanks, Erin, I am excited about the hall tree, too, although a little anxious. I have arranged for the assembly for tomorrow, but last time I scheduled one (for the Baker’s Rack), they didn’t show up and my son-in-law had to do the job. But…I have had successful technician assemblies for other items. So hopefully that “miss” was a fluke.
It is scheduled for first thing in the morning, so I won’t have to wait around all day!
Enjoy your week.

I know I read “Back when we were grownups” but it’s completely gone out of my memory. I guess that happens when one reads too much. I need to get out more but it’s another totally grey and ugly day.
Have a good week!

Thanks, Mae, it has been a long time since I read it, but there is a movie based on the book, and I’ve seen it recently. A good one!

I enjoy staying in, but love getting out and about once in a while. My thing is day trips to towns I haven’t been to before.
Since Covid I’ve done so much more online shopping than in all my adult years before that, and that’s a lot of years 🙂

Thanks, Vicki, and online shopping has become the way of my life in the last three years. Now I can’t imagine not doing it!
I do hope to get our more this spring and summer. Enjoy your week.

Sounds like a perfect week! I hope you were able to get out and enjoyed your outing. Spring is slowly coming to Wisconsin. We were able to get out for a walk today in the sunshine, but now it has turned cloudy and we are expecting rain/snow this evening.
I hope all goes well with your hall tree. Enjoy your week!

Thanks, Gretchen, of course I’m anxious about the technician coming to assemble the hall tree, since the last time I had set up one to do another piece, nobody showed up! Hopefully that was a fluke!
Enjoy your week and your books.

Enjoy the good weather, it feels like it hasn’t stopped raining here and now daylight saving has finished the afternoons grow dark quickly.
Wishing you a great reading week

Thanks, Shelleyrae, I hate the time changes and prefer daylight savings year-round…which might happen here. The WH is pondering that change now.

Enjoy the good weather! Spring and fall are my favorite seasons because those are the only times when the weather is nice enough for me to be happy outdoors. I don’t like being too hot or too cold.

I seem to be in the middle of a “stay at home” stretch. I can’t recall when I last left the house. I’m eagerly anticipating Spring weather so I can feel safe venturing out. Given that it is snowing again today, that doesn’t look like it will be soon. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
