Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.
**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.
And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

A hot week with cozy times in air-conditioned rooms. Some family time, some outings, and very little reading or blogging.
The family time centered around Remembering Jessica, my step-granddaughter lost to us last week. We are focusing on the happy memories of her…and her free spirit. Below, Diana and Jessica at the beach as little girls.

With my thoughts on family and mourning a lost life, I managed to read and review only two books, but one was a NetGalley ARC, and the other was a purchased book that engaged me throughout. I wrote only 4 blog posts! That’s a first, I think.
I enjoyed new episodes on The Handmaid’s Tale, Season II. I’m streaming on the new BluRay player in my bedroom.

Tomorrow I plan to watch another episode of The Good Fight, Season II. And maybe I will read and blog more this week. Speaking of blogging, I loved re-watching the Julie & Julia movie the other night…have you seen it? She blogged about food…and then wrote the book on which the movie was based. Yes, old news.
So…let’s grab some coffee and chat.

My son and DIL are in town this week, and he and I had brunch on Wednesday. Take a peek at the delicious food…mine was an egg-white spinach omelet with a mimosa.
