Another great week moving toward a balance in my routines. I read and reviewed two books, wrote six blog posts, and happily started viewing Season Five of The Crown. I also enjoyed adding another streaming service to my TV to allow for more comfortable viewing on my couch.
We had some rain this week, which is needed…but I had to time my outdoor chores, like taking out the trash, to avoid sloshing through puddles.
I stayed home all week, with no appointments or outings, but I actually enjoyed it. Maybe I will do more next week. Now let’s take a closer look at the week.

That was my week. What did yours look like? With the time changing of the past week, I was reminded of my wall of clocks that once made that task a bit overwhelming. So glad I don’t have them now!

Oh, I know all about having to time outdoor chores around the rain. I have a box full of bulbs I still need to plant! But, I keep reminding myself that we need the rain….
Have a great week!

Thanks, Melinda, I should grab some boots so I can avoid sloshing in the rain! I remember boots were a regular thing to wear when I was a kid.
Enjoy your week.

We had rain this week too. We even got some snow. Fortunately, the snow melted pretty quickly. I’ve only watched the first two seasons of THE CROWN. I lost interest when I found out Claire Foy wasn’t the queen anymore. I think I’m going to watch the new seasons, though, since I’ve heard it’s so good. I hope you have a good week!

I’m watching The Crown too. Diana’s story is so sad. I’m interested to see what Harry says in his book The Spare coming out in January. Here’s my SP: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2022/11/13/the-sundaypost-running-backs-catching-up-and-giving-back/

The Lisa Unger sounds good. I hope you have more chances for your outdoor chores this week. We are firmly in the 20s and 30s temps now – winter coats, etc are being used. I keep saying I need to start The Crown but haven’t had time or opportunity as yet. Have a good week, Laurel.

Thanks, Mary, I hope you do get around to The Crown. I love it, but it is also addictive, so one has to plan a whole day of it. Enjoy your week.

I haven’t watched any of The Crown, the Royals just don’t interest me much.
She’s Gone sounds good.
Wishing you a great reading week

Thanks, Shelleyrae, there are some royals that I like more than others. I’ve never been a fan of Charles, lol.

Wow – lots of Crown watchers here! Not me though. I rarely watch TV anymore and if I do it’s a movie picked by my husband. Will be interested on your comments on the Lisa Unger book – hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, Kay, I am loving the new season of The Crown, although I haven’t been binging it like usual. An episode or two a day.
I hope to finally make progress in the Lisa Unger book today. Enjoy your week.

Glad you had a nice week…even dodging the puddles.
I still haven’t bothered to set two clocks back. I just subtract the hour.
Both of your new books look good. Hope you enjoy them!

Thanks, Martha, I seem to do a lot of puddle hopping: in the spring and summer, I have to dodge the water from the sprinklers, and now it’s the rain. Sigh.
Enjoy your week!

We had rain this week and right now it is snowing. It’s what we call a nuisance snow – just enough to make the roads slippery. Since this is only our second snow of the season, people need to dust off their winter driving skills. I’ve heard tell of a number of fender benders already today. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

Thanks, Kathy, I have never lived in a place with snowfall, although we are a couple of hours away from the mountains and the ski resorts. I like being able to visit the snow without all the daily mess.
Enjoy your week and your books.

Thanks, Erin, I do love being surrounded by books, and I do miss my condo with all the bookish things. But…I have some shelves and some trinkets, so I’m making do and enjoying the photos of the past.
Can’t wait to really dive into the Lisa Unger book. Enjoy your week.

The Lisa Unger and David Bell look like ones that would make my nerves jangle! I’m already reading a book that makes me tense now, anyway (horror, not psychological suspense). A quiet week at home sounds delightful!

I do love books that make my nerves jangle…except not horror. Thrillers do it for me. Thanks, Laurie, and enjoy your reading.

Yeah the time change usually throws me off for weeks! It’s hard to adjust. Are you liking Season 5 of The Crown? Is it good? We don’t have Netflix right now but I would like to see the new season. The actors in it seem top notch. Enjoy your week.

After a year of more than typical traveling, I am looking forward to spending some time at home, so I can understand being cool with hanging at home.
I really want to watch The Crown. I simply haven’t made time for it. Both of your books look good this week. Hope you enjoy them.
