My birthday is finally in my rear view mirror, but I am still savoring the memories. This past week, I had two more birthday dinners, and now I will relax into my routines again. I read and reviewed only two books and wrote four blog posts. I also enjoyed some viewing, which included The Watcher, The Good Nurse, and Human Capital.
Let’s take a closer look at my reading and reviewing:

That was my week. My favorite outing this week was a birthday dinner at Flemings, an elegant and delicious place that I had never tried before. My long time friend of 50 years was my host for the event.

Thanks, Kathryn, I feel so lucky to have such a long time friend living close by! We have lunches regularly, too. She was my first work colleague from back in 1972l

I’m terrified that the Watcher will be too terrifying. I watched Extraordinary Attorney Woo, a legal drama series, which features an autistic but genius attorney with Aspergers, but whose personal and romantic life does not run smooth. Excellent.

Thanks, Bonnie, I think I had a fabulous birthday and felt so spoiled, lol. I think the number of my birthday made it a priority for family and friends,(it was my 80th!).

I’m glad you were able to celebrate your birthday so nicely. 😀 Getting back into a routine, though, is the best feeling, isn’t it? I tend to flounder when my routine gets upset. I hope you have a wonderful week!

Glad you had such a great birthday week and are blessed to celebrate with long time friends! How wonderful to be excited to celebrate a milestone one too! My mom’s 80th was last month and it was a blast. My son told me that I may not like The Watcher cause it is scary.
