Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon and The Sunday Post for weekly updates.

Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

My week was a good one, despite the fact that I only read and reviewed two books and wrote six blog posts.  I did start viewing a miniseries called After Life, and rewatched some older movies, like Rabbit Hole, with Nicole Kidman.

On Friday I grabbed a Lyft and had lunch again at Antonio’s, my favorite Mexican restaurant.  Delicious Margarita(s) and enchiladas…and flan for dessert.

Next Friday, my Baker’s Rack will be assembled!  I feel like I’ve been waiting forever!  So that’s good news.

But for a sad greeting to the day:  my coffee pot died!  I can’t get another from Amazon until tomorrow, and I’ll bet it won’t come early in the day.  Sigh.  So it’s tea drinking today.

Now let’s take a closer look at my week.  Check out the virtual cup of coffee!

That was my week. What did yours look like?  I had fun playing around with my blogs again, changing headers and themes.  I had already changed the theme at this site, but went over to Potpourri to switch things up a bit.  Here’s my new header there:

And, just to spice things up, here’s a photo of my delicious Flan dessert from Antonio’s.

    1. Thanks, Kathryn, I felt so tired all day without my coffee! And it will probably be another whole day tomorrow before the coffee pot arrives! I checked the stores on my Instacart app, as things come quickly from them…but none of them had coffee pots, not even Target!

I took a long nap today, LOL.

Your reading and blogging numbers continue to be way higher than I manage to reach even in a good week xD I don’t know what I’d do without my coffee in the morning… I have just run out of coffee but thankfully some will be delivered later this evening so I’m all good for tomorrow! That flan looks delicious btw! Thanks for sharing and have a lovely weekend 🙂

    1. Thanks, Juli, I can’t remember the last time my coffee pot died! I think it will last forever, I guess. Usually when the pot gave out, I was next to a store, with a car to grab, so this is a first. Not having access to a pot for a whole day!

Enjoy your week, and I don’t worry about how many books I read these days! I am focusing on picking out ones I can love. I did enjoy that flan…and the margarita.

    1. Thanks, Sophie, especially now when I can’t jump in a car to go to the store! I thought about Lyft, but then decided I want to save those trips for outings other than shopping. I must admit that I had weird dreams last night. I slept pretty well, considering.

  2. I recently learned about the perfect solution a for coffee pot dies or to revamp our coffee drinking habit! Perhaps you’ve heard of steeped coffee bags? Make coffee the same as your tea. I just may have to give them a try 🙂

  3. I know how anxious you are to get that Baker’s rack put together, but am sure that once it’s done it will have been worth the wait! Glad you had another good week… the flan is making my mouth water. It’s been ages since I last had it. Yum!

    1. Thanks, Diane, I have been gathering together a few trinkets for the rack while I wait, and, of course, moving other furniture around to make space.

I hadn’t had flan in a while, so I was happy to end my meal with it. Enjoy your week!

    1. Thanks, Carole, I am so eager for my Baker’s Rack assembly! I am also loving The Golden Couple. There is mystery and relationship drama, so I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

The lunch was fabulous, and after the bad event of my coffee pot dying, my new one arrived this afternoon and I am enjoying a cup of coffee. I might not sleep tonight, LOL.

I have been really curious about After Life and heard good things about it. I hope you are enjoying the series. My husband and I went out together for lunch Friday since we both had a holiday (Mouse had school) and I wish now we’d gone to our favorite Mexican restaurant instead of where we ended it up. It was so loud and crowded. Oh well. Next time. I’m really in the mood for enchiladas. I think hubby is making some tonight as a matter of fact! I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading!

    1. Thanks, Wendy, I never seem to get tired of Mexican food lately. I hope you enjoy yours.

I wasn’t sure about After Life, as I had never really connected with the actor in it, but I soon realized that I was hooked. And I binge-watched the whole series. I hope you enjoy it.

  5. Ohh- yum the flan! Okay now back to rest. Sorry about the coffee pot. We have two at home and some instant just in case.
I do like the looks and sound of With Love from London.
I hope you have a good week and Happy Reading!

    1. Thanks, Martha, and I finally got my new coffee pot late yesterday, and I am enjoying my delicious morning cup right now. I admit I made a pot last night,, too, so I stayed up pretty late. LOL.

I definitely need to have an extra pot on hand, as being without coffee is very sad!

  6. With Love from London looks lovely! I’m writing that title down.

We did take out from our favorite Mexican food restaurant last night, but it’s just not as good, is it? As soon as it warms up a little, we hope to eat on the patio. And look at your dessert!

I hope you have a fantastic week!
