Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon and The Sunday Post for weekly updates.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

Another great week in which I read and reviewed three books.  I only wrote five blog posts, but I had fun watching movies and shows, finishing up the final episode of And Just Like That and beginning Season II of Sweet Magnolias on Netflix.  I also finished the fourth season of Ozark.

During the week, I grabbed Lyft and went to a dental appointment.  Not a fun trip, but it was an outing, of course.  I do enjoy the staff at the office and love catching up with them.  That’s what happens when a Pandemic keeps us so isolated!  We are grateful for every little thing.

I continued rearranging my rooms…and tell myself that I’m cleaning house, LOL.  It’s true, though.  Changing up the interiors can morph into housework.  I still enjoy having my own washer and dryer again, too, which means that I don’t mind doing laundry.

Now let’s take a closer look at my week.

I’m not sure if my comment went through, so I’m tryin again. 🙂 I love your home! Your book cupboard is lovely! Your post on The Maid made me even more eager to read it! 🙂

Rearranging rooms can work wonders for the psyche. I remember when the snow really got to my spirit and I cleaned and rearranged furniture and I tricked my mind into thinking I was somewhere fabulous.

  3. Am also watching Sweet Magnolias season 2. I alternate between saying an appreciative aaawww at the tender scenes and hollering “spare me” when they seem too saccharine. I think it’s not the show, but the mood I’min.
This week is starting off very “bookish.” LOL

    1. Thanks, Kathryn, I definitely appreciate the things I once took for granted. There were a lot of years living in apartments without a washer and dryer, so I have always been grateful.

The same is true about the human interaction. The past two years have really tested us.

  4. Ah yes, you know we’ve been isolating too long when a trip to the dentist turns into an exciting outing!

I think rearranging furniture counts as cleaning! I need to do both, so I’m impressed by your efforts!

    1. Thanks, AJ, I am happy to finally have a little more space now…that studio apartment I was in for two years didn’t cut it. Although I did have that cabinet there, and filled it with towels in the bathroom.

      Enjoy your week.

I have to go to the dentist too soon. It’s a bit of dread and wanting to get it done. I’m glad you liked the Maid novel. Have you watched the movie CODA yet? You might like it … if you get it. I think it’s on Apple + … Have a great week.
