WEEKLY UPDATES…ANOTHER GREAT WEEK…

***

Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon and The Sunday Post for weekly updates.

Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

The week was pretty uneventful. I did read and review two books and enjoyed a few older movies. No outings. Interesting how one week can be full of activities, while the next one is pretty quiet. I did enjoy having some time alone.

Let’s take a closer look at the week.

Tuesday Potpourri:  New Books…

Now where is that farmhouse?! Looks idyllic. No weekly update ? I hope all is well. Next week I hope to start decorating for Christmas …. I’ll find a tree and wreath … hard to believe we are into December. When did it sneak up on me!

    1. I have some miniature Christmas trees, Shelleyrae, but they are tucked away in bins…and I think my granddaughter put them somewhere! Perhaps on a shelf? I may not bother this year. LOL

Sometimes I just enjoy the holidays by looking at movies, books, and magazines.

      Enjoy your week.

Love that decor, that definitely gets me right into the Christmas Spirit! I also have The Widow waiting on my Kindle for me, should probably get to that sooner rather than later. I hope you have a lovely upcoming week 🙂

Wow, I love the rustic motif. I read somewhere that parents should make the holidays memorable for kids so that they have something to hang on to. My mother was queen of the holidays, Man, I miss her.

  4. I’ve heard lots of great things about the new Jodi Picoult book. I’m eager to see what you think about it.

We had always planned to build a cabin in the forest one of these days, but it looks like that will probably not happen. It is fun to see how others decorate, isn’t it?

  5. After all the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving week, I was glad for a few quiet days at home, too! It’s been interesting for me to see how holiday decorations vary around the country… they really play up the tropical down here. We have dolphins pulling Santa’s sleigh, Santa wearing a grass skirt and doing the hula inflatables, and all the lights in the palm trees look spectacular. So very different from upstate NY!

  6. My week is going great. TODAY (12/9) I saw the pulmonologist to get scan results and neither the nodules or the tumor have grown or changed! PTL!
Now watchful waiting until January . I am soooo grateful for alll of you who prayed for me.
