Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon and The Sunday Post for weekly updates.
Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.
And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.
I only read and reviewed one book this week! But I loved it, and my six blog posts showed a little bit of my blogging life. I got my flu shot this week; on Friday, I got my hair styled by Heather…and we had lunch afterwards!
I viewed some old movies: I found an old favorite, When a Man Loves a Woman, with Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia. I also continued watching Big Sky, on Hulu.
Now, looking back, I wonder what else I did that I forgot about, as the week slid by so quickly!
For now let’s take a closer look at my week. Below, my new hair with a glimmer of purple that I haven’t had since before the Pandemic!

Tuesday Excerpts: “The Last Night in London”
Tuesday Potpourri: Bookish Treasures…
Coffee Chat: Loving My Routines…
Bookish Friday: “Last Girl Ghosted”

I like Big Sky also.
I also love New Amsterdam.
Nice looking week!
Have a great weekend.

Thanks, Linda, I’ve been meaning to watch New Amsterdam. Now that I am in my new place and have a DVR on my TV, I could actually record some things.
Enjoy your week!

Well I reckon that’s great you only read one book. It means life is taking on a new turn these days for you. I bet it felt great to get your hair done.

Thanks, Kathryn, I loved getting out a bit more this week, even if I didn’t read as much! Hair styling went by the wayside during the Pandemic, so it felt good to trim things up a bit.
Enjoy your week.

That Andy Garcia & Megan Ryan movie is a dramatic / good one! I remember it from 1994. Pretty intense right? You’ll have to let us know if the Clinton/Penny book is good … it seems good payback for 2016 debacle. Have a great week.

Thanks, Susan, I never get tired of those old 1990s movies, especially the ones with Meg Ryan.I loved the old San Francisco style house in the film, too.
Can’t wait to see what Clinton and Penny bring us!

Your week was busier than mine! I mostly just worked and slept. I’m glad you enjoyed the book you read. Have a great week!

Thanks, AJ, I find myself sleeping more these days…so reading only one book was a good thing.

I love how Meg Ryan’s partner in that movie helps her cope with addiction. My brother has AA issues and I just learned that MN is the top three states who battle with chronic addiction. Fortunately we have tons of rehab centers. Hope your week is good and find more stuff and share. I love going on scavenger hunts with ya.

Thanks, Trin, I also loved how Andy Garcia did such a great job portraying the supportive husband. I never get tired of watching Meg in her movies from the 1990s.

Love the slight tint of purple! And it’s better to read one great book than five meh ones, I’d say. I hope you have a lovely week ahead 🙂

One book is quite a change – you must have had a very busy week! Just love seeing that hint of purple back in your hair… just like old times! I’m still disappointed that my hair cut/foils appointment in NY got cancelled last month due to Covid. All the stylists tested positive, but thankfully none were very sick. I’m waiting until the positivity rates decline here before making an appointment. Hope you have another good week.

Thanks, JoAnn, it took forever for me to finally get my appointment with Heather, who is the only one I trust with the purple. I haven’t had it since before the Pandemic!
My one book was so good, and it was from Karen White, so I was happy to immerse myself in it.

Your books look good, and yay for hair coloring! I like it. I love those older movies. Although it feels weird saying that, they’re not THAT old. lol
Be well this week!

Why does Clinton’s book sound almost autobiographical?

Your hair looks great. Sometimes our plans change, so not as many books but sounds like some good shows. I’m not always into television, but when I am I usually binge watch.
Last Girl Ghosted sounds good. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, Kathy, I have also been curled up at home for most of the past year and even this year. It was strange to go out to the styling salon, but the end result cheered me up.
Enjoy your week and your books…and your outings.

I love the purple in your hair! My sister put in some “peekaboo” purple, sort of in a middle layer of her dark hair, so you just catch glimpses of it here and there. I’d love to do some blue but my hair is dry and curly anyway, so I think I would fry it by bleaching it to take the blue. Oh well. I’ll enjoy everyone else’s colors!
Have a great week!

Thanks, Jen, my daughter started adding in the purple after I developed an allergic reaction to regular hair dye. I don’t have any problems with this product.
