I am so excited about being able to eat out again haha although I don’t want to go too crazy. We did venture out for my birthday and the restaurant did a really good job with partial occupancy and distancing. It was nice to be out again. I hope you and your daughter have a great lunch out too!
I just got a JT Ellison book this weekend.
Happy Easter!

Thanks, Greg, I am very carefully planning the outings. I’ve only been out once for lunch and once for coffee…so far.
Enjoy your week, and I hope you love your J. T. Ellison book.

I can feel the happiness over here about the restaurants. I think I would eat in restaurants for a WHOLE WEEK if they would open up. But sadly, I don’t think they will soon.
Hopefully April will bring you loads of fun and sunshine and good books.
Happy Easter! I celebrated on Good Friday ^^

Thanks, Esther, only some are open, and only 25% capacity…but that actually works for me. Slow and sure is the path to success! Happy Easter!

Happy Easter. I’ve got the next two weeks off and although things here in the UK are beginning to relax, the family and I will be staying home. Hopefully taking advantage of warmer and spending time in our back garden.
Hope you have a lovely week. X

Happy Easter and Spring to you too, Laurel-Rain! ✝🐣 I hope you will enjoy your meal out with your granddaughter – Restaurants are still not allowed to be open here in the UK yet (bring on the 12th April for that!), however we are allowed to meet in groups of up to 6 outside for drinks, picnics and bbqs which is lovely. So I am hoping to finally meet my new baby cousin today! Take care and happy reading in the coming week. 🙂

Only a few are open, Jessica, and only at 25% capacity…but I wouldn’t want to rush into these big steps!!
Enjoy your picnics and barbecues…and time with family!

Glad you are going out to eat again. We haven’t yet but by next month hopefully. Restaurants are open 50% here. I got my first vaccine dose last week. Happy Easter and happy reading this week!

Thanks, Nai, I am glad to move along slowly, since we were locked down where I live for a WHOLE YEAR! So it will take a while to adjust. Happy Easter!

Hey Laurel, hope you have nice weather there. And it’ll be great when you can get to the Cheesecake Factory for a delicious lunch. I have been back from SoCal about a month now … and I still think about it the nice walks I had with my folks there. So much was in bloom. Perhaps I’ll get back there in the fall. Still waiting for the vaccine in Canada. Enjoy your Day. And the Sharon Stone book looks like a doozy, right?

Thanks, Susan, and I hope you get the vaccine soon! It brings such a relief to have its protection.
I think my granddaughter and I will go to Marie Callender’s by the university here, the only one that is still live! I am thinking of pot pie and Caesar salad!
Cheesecake Factory is fun, too, but is usually crowded, so that won’t happen for a while.
And yes, Sharon Stone has some stories to tell, some involving scary health issues.
Enjoy your week!

Wishing you a great reading week

Thanks, Shelleyrae, and the last time she mentioned the vaccine, she was scheduled for the first one. I think she has probably had them both, but I need to check!
Enjoy your week!

Oh, what a lovely prospect to go out and eat with your granddaughter:)). We are not at that stage yet, as the Govt is being very very careful in easing restrictions from this lockdown. So I wholeheartedly wish you a fabulous time together, as I know you have been isolated for a long time! Have a great week, Laurel!

We have been locked down for more than a year, so my one restaurant visit a couple of weeks ago felt surreal. I will move slowly forward, Sarah.

We are hoping to try an outdoor restaurant as our first return to that world, but we haven’t made definite plans yet. I hope you and your granddaughter enjoy a lovely lunch, and be sure to take photos and keep us all posted with how it goes.
Emily in Paris is fun, isn’t it? I love seeing all the clothes everyone is wearing, and Emily certainly know what to do with social media. And, of course, there is also Paris. Paris!

Thanks, Deb, I do love viewing shows on Netflix, Hulu, and Prime…which actually help make up for all that we are missing out there. I will move slowly back into the “regular world,” which is no more, now that we think about it.

Even though our restaurants are at 25% I am still too cautious to eat-in. We did get our second vaccine on Friday, though, so in a few weeks we should be able to move about more. Happy Easter.

My husband and I have taken all our meals out to go since we arrived in Florida. We ate outside when we were allowed to while we were in California but there’s no social distancing that we can see at restaurants in Florida. Oh well. It’s great that things are safely opening up for you!
Enjoy your week!

We are starting to venture out more too, although aren’t ready to eat out yet-at least not indoors. Too many places here aren’t following the capacity limit and are crowding everyone in–and there are plenty of people take part. I hope you and your granddaughter have a nice lunch out! You’ll have to tell us where you go. I can live vicariously through you. 🙂 I hope you are enjoying your reading and week, Laurel-Rain!
