WEEKLY UPDATES: GREAT BOOKS & GOOD FOOD…

Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.

**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

Another great reading/blogging week, with three books read and reviewed and five blog posts written. My bookshelves are filling up…and I am happily arranging/rearranging the books.

On Netflix, I have been watching What If...and grabbing the occasional Prime movie.

Today I celebrated granddaughter Fiona’s 23rd birthday at California Pizza Kitchen…

...after which they took me to the grocery store.  My fridge is now stocked up again.

Let’s grab some coffee/tea and take a closer look at my week.

  1. I ate out twice this weekend alone. Friday took my husband to lunch for Italian at Olive Garden, and today, Saturday, the sun finally came out, and we did a little retail therapy down the highway and had Mexican at Gringo’s. I am ridiculously full and have no idea (nor do I want to know) how much weight I gained. Grrroooaaan.

    1. Thanks, Deb, I loved celebrating Fiona’s birthday with her…my other granddaughter just turned 23, too, but she’s in New Zealand for the year! So…no lunch with her, sigh.

Enjoy your week, and I’m loving Dead to Her!

  3. Happy Birthday to Fiona! Sounds like you had a nice celebration. So many books on your shelf – a few I have and a few I want 🙂 The Jennifer Weiner book looks good. I haven’t read her books in awhile.

I’ve been enjoying our shows last week. Both were good and I was so happy to see the secrets finally come out on both shows. Have a great week!

    1. Thanks, Yvonne, I love sharing birthdays with the grandkids…and as they get older, they can be even more fun. But…they are also busier, so the time spent is like a treasure.

I am loving the shows now, especially more since we are back from that horrible time of preemptions!

At first I thought Nelle might elude capture, but so far so good. Of course she probably has more terrible plans to unfold.

      Enjoy your week.
