WEEKLY UPDATES: A BUSY WEEK…

Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.

**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

What a busy week!  It seemingly flew by, and while I did read and review two books and write five blog posts, I also kept to my scheduled appointments.  Some were doctor/dental appointments, and some were fun (mani-pedi and lunch out with my granddaughter). On the side, I revamped the look of some of my blogs.  Like conducting my personal “bloggiesta,” since there has been no official event in quite a while.  This site has had its makeover, along with several others.

My Amazon packages continue to arrive as I just keep “adding to my carts.”  Soon I will finally have everything I need.  LOL

I’m back on my morning coffee, so let’s grab a cup and take a closer look at my week.

I hope you review both Demi Moore and Meryl Streep biography’s. I didn’t know about the Meryl Streep one, but I have been reading a lot about Demi’s on the net.
I have The Murder Book in my current library stack and haven’t gotten to it yet. I will be anxious to hear what you think of the book.

  2. I need to update my banner! I will have to check out your revamped site! (I’m reading in my reader right now)

Mmm Strawberry Rhubarb pie! Coincidentally, I am up early “baking” that very type of pie for breakfast – I like to do special treat meals sometimes. 🙂 It should be ready by the time the rest of the house gets up! We bought a Grand Traverse pie, so good!

    1. Thanks, Erin, I don’t like to read on my phone or in the reader, since it doesn’t allow me to enjoy the look of the blogs…LOL.

I wasn’t baking much before I moved here, but now I can’t, since we have no oven in the apartments…or range. I have a microwave and a coffee pot.

      Enjoy your week.

  3. I must track down that biography of Meryl Streep and send a copy of my mother… Thank you for featuring it. I do like your blog makeover – how brave! I tend to leave my to sort itself out:). I hope you have another good week, Laurel. Inhaling the virtual pie… yum!

I hope you had a great time with your grand daughter during your mani pedi trip. I miss the bloggiesta events too. Let me know if you were joining one or doing one. I hope you have a great week ahead.

  5. Oh, you have some great books there! I’ve heard good things about Demi Moore’s Inside Out, so it’s definitely one I want to give a try, as well as The Dutch House. And The Murder List sounds intriguing. Have a great week and happy reading!

    1. Thanks, Nise, I do enjoy making over my blogs. Picmonkey is a great helper, too.

I am finally adjusting to my new place, and it helps that I’m on the food committee, so that I can voice my dietary needs. The staff is great at listening and trying to bring what we need, while offering delicious treats, too.

I am loving The Murder List. Enjoy your week.
