Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.
**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.
And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

What a busy week! It seemingly flew by, and while I did read and review two books and write five blog posts, I also kept to my scheduled appointments. Some were doctor/dental appointments, and some were fun (mani-pedi and lunch out with my granddaughter). On the side, I revamped the look of some of my blogs. Like conducting my personal “bloggiesta,” since there has been no official event in quite a while. This site has had its makeover, along with several others.
My Amazon packages continue to arrive as I just keep “adding to my carts.” Soon I will finally have everything I need. LOL
I’m back on my morning coffee, so let’s grab a cup and take a closer look at my week.
LAST WEEK ON THE BLOGS:
Tuesday Excerpts: “The Murder List”
Tuesday Potpourri: A Day To Celebrate
Bookish Friday: “The Testaments”
Review: Without a Doubt, by Marcia ClarkReview: The Stranger Inside, by Lisa Unger

INCOMING BOOKS:
Two books came in my mailbox…and I downloaded one e-book.
Queen Meryl, by Erin Carlson
Inside Out, by Demi Moore
Download:
The Dutch House, by Ann Patchett

Currently Reading: The Murder List, by Hank Phillippi Ryan.

That was my week…what did yours look like? Check out my delicious dessert from this week: Strawberry Rhubarb Pie with a Scoop of Ice Cream.

Did you bake the pie yourself? I had a great day of baking yesterday. I made a cheescake, applepie and vanilla cake 🙂

Thanks, Bite Into Books. The pie came from our Chef in the place where I live now.

I hope you review both Demi Moore and Meryl Streep biography’s. I didn’t know about the Meryl Streep one, but I have been reading a lot about Demi’s on the net.
I have The Murder Book in my current library stack and haven’t gotten to it yet. I will be anxious to hear what you think of the book.

I need to update my banner! I will have to check out your revamped site! (I’m reading in my reader right now)
Mmm Strawberry Rhubarb pie! Coincidentally, I am up early “baking” that very type of pie for breakfast – I like to do special treat meals sometimes. 🙂 It should be ready by the time the rest of the house gets up! We bought a Grand Traverse pie, so good!

Thanks, Erin, I don’t like to read on my phone or in the reader, since it doesn’t allow me to enjoy the look of the blogs…LOL.
I wasn’t baking much before I moved here, but now I can’t, since we have no oven in the apartments…or range. I have a microwave and a coffee pot.
Enjoy your week.

Thanks, Sarah, I don’t change the blogs as much as I once did…but then, suddenly, I got the urge. Enjoy!
I tried to get another piece of that pie from the kitchen last night, but it was all gone. Sigh.
Enjoy your week.

I’m feeling very proud of myself right now, I have managed to avoid cake and sticky treats since I went away for my retreat and I’m a bit shaken at how much better my memory now is!

I so have to read Queen Meryl. I actually know a minnesotan actress who auditioned alongside Meryl for a role many, many year ago.
