WEEKLY UPDATES: READING, BLOGGING, & ROCK ‘N’ ROLL…

Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon,The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.

**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

What a great week!  It started out with tedious medical tests that turned out well…and then it all improved significantly.  I read and reviewed three books and wrote four blog posts.  On Thursday night, I had a fabulous time at the “Elvis show” here…

On Friday, I spent the day with my granddaughter Fiona, running errands and having a delightful lunch at one of my favorite places.

Now let’s take a closer look at my week.

  1. I’m so glad it was a good week for you – it’s always a big bonus when medical results are good. And quality time with grandchildren is an even bigger bonus – what a lovely pic:)). I hope the coming week is equally good, Laurel.

  3. Hmmm…My Ex-Best Friend’s Wedding…that sounds fascinating. I don’t know why, but I think of Wendy Wax as a children’s author. I will have to look her up. Apparently I am wrong!

Your lunch with your granddaughter looks wonderful. And I see why you dream of that pie, that ice cream. Yum!

    Have a wonderful week.

You sure had a great week! I could tell by the tone of your blog post, and of course, seeing a granddaughter is always a highlight. 🙂 You reminded me that September is a good time to see how my 2019 reading is coming along. Hope you have another great week!

  5. Hi Laurel, I’m glad you had such a great week. Your reading is back on a roll. I still have ARCs to read from August so you’re ahead of the game. So many good books this fall — it should be excellent. Enjoy

    1. Thanks, Susan, I had so many books released in August, so I felt a bit overwhelmed. September and October were better.

I have decided to actually allow some review books to pass me by. Anything to avoid the stress. LOL.

      Enjoy your week.
