WEEKLY UPDATES: BOOKS, MOVIES, & INTERIORS…

Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.

**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

I launched the week with a wonderfully suspenseful and engaging book…and then was sidetracked for a few days with home interior stuff. I had bought some new bedding from Amazon, so I spent time redoing my bedroom.  I love recreating my space.  Here is the finished look at  Hump Day Potpourri.  Then I did some cleaning of the house, room by room, in between reading my next book, which I finally finished late last night.

Movies:  I watched Second Act on Prime, starring Jennifer Lopez.  A nice distraction.  Then I began The Act, a new show on Hulu.  More episodes come each Wednesday.  As always, I loved viewing another episode of The Good Fight.

I had another styling session with my daughter, followed by a nice lunch of Fish ‘n’ Chips with margaritas.  Yes, plural.  I didn’t photograph the lunch.  We were enjoying our chat and our laughs.  Later, you’ll see more seafood I savored this week.

Meanwhile…let’s grab another cup of coffee and check out more details of the week.

the Night Visitors has me super curious (I read the blurb a while back and was intrigued), and Backstabbers! I’m so behind on that series now…

    1. Thanks, Rachel, I love fish and chips with malt vinegar, the way my eldest son enjoyed it after living in London for a while. I’m loving my newest book from the Country Club Murder series.

      Have a great week.

    1. Thanks, Lindy, I loved the salad…and I also enjoy getting packages from Amazon. I sometimes get started clicking to buy things, and it’s hard to stop! I ordered more sheets for my bedding set, as I wanted a different color. LOL.

      Enjoy your week.

  3. I have to read that new Carol Goodman book!! I love her books so much! I didn’t know there was a new one – I am super excited to see this!! (In case my overuse of exclamation marks didn’t give it away..)

We had a bit of spring fever over here too – rearranging, purging, then splurging on new things! 🙂 Glad it was a good week, but then how can a week with margaritas be bad? 🙂

  4. Hmmm, margaritas!
I’ve seen The Perfect Girlfriend at the store multiple times, I’m always tempted by it, it sounds like a good thriller. I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!
