WEEKLY UPDATES: LOTS OF READING…& SOME SUNSHINE…

Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.

**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

What a great week!  Not only did we have lots of sunshine, but I read and reviewed FIVE books.  Strange, since my reading is usually best when it is raining.  Three of the books were NetGalley ARCs, so that felt good.  Two were library books, using my new Libby Overdrive app.

Finished Bloggiesta ….click the link to see what I accomplished.

Not much else going on, though;  the reading consumed me.  I did watch some TV, and a little Netflix (Life Unexpected), and Season II of Doctor Foster.   On CBS-All Access, I am regularly watching episodes of The Good Fight.

Today looks like a nice sunny day…time for a good walk.  Or not.  LOL.

Let’s grab some coffee and talk more about the week.

    1. Thanks, Kathryn, I couldn’t believe that I had read so many…way more than my usual. But the list and the reviews were there…I didn’t dream those books! LOL.

The books were so good that the pages flew by.

Loving the sunshine…and I need to clear the leaves off of my patio. Have a great weekend.

  5. Five books – you rock! I just finished watching Santa Clarita Diet this weekend and while I loved it, I now miss it. Hope it’s renewed for Season 3. I don’t know what I’ll watch next. I’m getting reading to read Let Me Lie this week as soon as I finish my first #SpringIntoHorror book – Taste of Wrath. Hope you have a wonderful week.

    1. I’m watching Season 3 of Better Call Saul on Netflix, although I saw it a while ago on AMC.

I tried watching Santa Clarita Diet…but yuk! All that vomiting. LOL

Thanks for stopping by, Barb, and enjoy your week.

I’m still whittling away at my May review books. Our weather is missing the sun. They are even talking about a nuisance snow today and tomorrow. Oh well, it makes for good reading time. Between baseball and The Voice which happen to be on at the same time this evening my TV watching is getting complicated. Come see my week here. Have a great week!

    1. Thanks, Kathy, the TV shows on my schedule tend to clump together on certain days…like Thursdays and Sundays. Thanks to the DVR, though, I can spread them out a little.

Enjoy your week…stay cozy when it snows.

  8. It’s April, can’t believe it! We need more sunshine and spring weather to make it feel like April. So happy to see Garden of Small Beginnings up there. I adored that book. It was so much better than Other People’s Houses.

  10. I just read Sometimes I Lie and mostly I really enjoyed it. A few things didn’t perfectly work for me but I’d still happily recommend the book, it was a good read. I hope you enjoy it too, and that your week of read is as good as the last! 🙂

    1. Thanks for visiting, Elizabeth, and I felt productive after Bloggiesta…and then had such a good week of books. This week is moving along slowly…although I did get a lot of spring cleaning done!

      Enjoy your week!
