Today I’ll take on the random question. My practice is to post my reviews immediately after finishing the book…although recently I’ve been waiting until the next morning, especially if I finish late at night.
I started to realize that sometimes it is good to let my thoughts gel a bit, so waiting a bit happens more and more.
I take notes, so they help me, whether I review the book immediately…or later.
I never wait long, though. I don’t like to start a new book until I’ve reviewed the one I just read.

AN INTERIOR JOURNEY 
I write my reviews as I read and then edit, add, and “clean up” my review when I am done with the book. My review is basically done when I turn the last page. 🙂
I normally have the reviews done ahead of time so I pre-schedule them for the post date.
I agree with you about not wanting to start another book until the previous book is done.

Great process, Elizabeth….sometimes I actually start a Word doc as I go along, too, depending on the complexity of the book.

It works out very well for me.
I used to do it in Word, but I actually do it in e-mail. Seems better for “safe keeping.” 🙂
When I add/edit, I just change the subject line so I know it’s the most recent update.

That’s a better approach… not to start a new one before reviewing the last one. I used to do that but now I just devour one after the other!haha Thankfully I am getting used to taking notes for arcs and every book that I can! 🙂

I only review for myself so I can keep track of the books I read (I forget them so easily).

Thanks for stopping by, Allison, and whenever I think of not reviewing, I remember how much I enjoy looking up a book I’ve read and reminding myself of the characters and story by checking my review.
