This past week was HOT. Extremely. And during one of the hottest days, plumbers came and turned the water off because of a broken pipe in the next-door unit. They may have to go in again tomorrow, which means that I’ve got to be up early to do all water-related activities before they begin. Ugh.
But luckily the air-conditioning isn’t broken. Knock wood!
I took an early morning walk a couple of days ago and enjoyed some greenery….which helps me forget how hot it gets later in the day.

Wow, you’ve been pretty busy, Laurel-Rain! And ugh! for your water having to be turned off because of a broken pipe next door. I guess on the bright side, it’s nicer to get things done early in the morning when it’s still cool, then maybe take a nap in the early afternoon when it gets too hot 🙂
You have several books on your list I want to check out, I hope you’ll like the ones you have lined up for this week.
Here’s my It’s Monday! post for this week.

I really need to pick up a Sarah Jio book one of these days…I’ve heard such good things about them.
I try to get my walks in early in the morning as well – much more enjoyable than going out in the hot, sticky sun!
Here’s my It’s Monday post.

I always worry that the power will go out; that has happened in the past when it gets so hot and there is an overload on the power grid.
I hope that if I say it, that won’t happen…lol.
