MONDAY FROM THE INTERIOR: WHAT ARE YOU READING? — JULY 8

Welcome to our weekly bookish place where we share our adventures in reading.  Come along and join us as we explore other blogs and feel a community spirit.

Today I’m linking up at Monday Reading, hosted by Book Journey.

This past week was HOT.  Extremely.  And during one of the hottest days, plumbers came and turned the water off because of a broken pipe in the next-door unit.  They may have to go in again tomorrow, which means that I’ve got to be up early to do all water-related activities before they begin.  Ugh.

But luckily the air-conditioning isn’t broken.  Knock wood!

I took an early morning walk a couple of days ago and enjoyed some greenery….which helps me forget how hot it gets later in the day.

    1. I am so looking forward to The Last Camellia, too.

Some of the photos are mine, but the VW bug and the deep forest on the right end are from Pinterest. Click over to check out my Pinterest images (top ride sidebar).

Thanks for visiting, Erin. Enjoy your week.

  1. Wow, you’ve been pretty busy, Laurel-Rain! And ugh! for your water having to be turned off because of a broken pipe next door. I guess on the bright side, it’s nicer to get things done early in the morning when it’s still cool, then maybe take a nap in the early afternoon when it gets too hot 🙂

You have several books on your list I want to check out, I hope you’ll like the ones you have lined up for this week.

Here’s my It’s Monday! post for this week.

    1. Thanks, Lexxie…I am eager for this week and the books I’m planning. And I agree about how nice it is to start the day early, when it’s cool. Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting.

  2. I really need to pick up a Sarah Jio book one of these days…I’ve heard such good things about them.

I try to get my walks in early in the morning as well – much more enjoyable than going out in the hot, sticky sun!

    Here’s my It’s Monday post.

    Have a great week!

    1. I never seem to get my fill of Maynard’s books, which is why I have several in my library…and don’t plan to donate any of them! Thanks for stopping by, Rita, and enjoy your week.

    1. I always worry that the power will go out; that has happened in the past when it gets so hot and there is an overload on the power grid.

I hope that if I say it, that won’t happen…lol.

Thanks for stopping by, and keep blogging with us.
