MONDAY FROM THE INTERIOR: MAILBOX MONDAY & WHAT ARE YOU READING? — DEC. 10

Welcome to another week of bookish fun.  Join in with those who celebrate Mailbox Monday, hosted in December by Suko’s Notebook; and What Are You Reading?, hosted by Book Journey.

MAILBOX MONDAY:

No books in the mailbox for me this week!  That works out perfectly, since the holidays are sucking the time out of the days.

    1. I’m not sure why Bonnie didn’t quite capture me, but perhaps it was because it was the final book. I can’t put my finger on why it didn’t click for me. I’ll still try one of the others….not in that trilogy, though. Thanks for stopping by, Nise.

My mailbox has been quiet lately, too (well, except for the daily arrival of Cybils!) I’m glad I don’t have other books awaiting me right now.

    1. Yes, it’s a relief not to have too many….and as the year ends, I like to start fresh. With my same old stacks that need whittling…lol

Glad you could stop by, Deb, and enjoy your week and your Cybils.

  2. The good woman looks really nice. I used to have a Nora Roberts phase when I was in the university. And Joyce Carol Oates! I love her writing. 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your reading week!

  3. I read a few books by Joyce Carol Oates long ago – like about 15, 20 years ago. Bleak reads. She’s a good writer, but if you have any depression issues at all you might find yourself suffering a bout of the blues after reading one of her books. I don’t have depression issues, and felt the blues coming on after a read. Same with Anne Rice. oh, the heavy bleakness of it all…

    haha

have a good reading week – enjoy your books 🙂
