Sometimes it’s nice to not get mail…it will give you a chance to get even more done…but no more rearranging!

Ha-ha! Yes, I should get more done without additional books, but I do tend to get drawn into distractions. But yesterday’s distractions were about working on my creations, Patty, and I felt a sense of accomplishment.

I just finished a few days of watching Hoarders obsessively on t.v., so I find the book Keepsake to be interesting. Never thought to see it as fiction, though why not? Fiction is a great way to explore everyday (or not so everyday) issues that we all live with. Back when I was super poor, I think we were beginning to live with the beginnings of a hoarder lifestyle – minus the grosser elements. I found myself hanging on to all kinds and sizes of clothes for the kids and myself. Thank god we snapped out of it, because I see how it could overtake people’s lives.
So back to book stuff – I think I might want to read this eventually. 🙂 And thanks for visiting my blog – I’ve been so horrible at keeping it up. Happy reading to you and yours.

I’m glad you could stop by, Mardel, and yes…sometimes it’s hard to keep up with it all. I’m hoping to enjoy Keepsake; I’ve already read a couple of fictional “hoarding” books and one memoir.
